Starting a Meeting

VidyVault supports two meeting types: instant meetings for immediate collaboration, and scheduled meetings for planned sessions.

1、Starting an Instant Meeting

Best for quick calls or spontaneous discussions.

Steps:

  1. Log in to the VidyVault client.
  2. Click the "Quick" button on the home screen.
  3. A new meeting room will be created and you'll enter the meeting interface immediately.

Pre-meeting Configuration (Optional):

  • Meeting Topic: Helps participants identify the purpose.
  • Mic/Camera Settings: Choose to enable or disable before joining.
  • Audio Output Device: Select speaker, wired headset, or Bluetooth audio.

2、Scheduling a Meeting

Ideal for recurring sessions or structured meetings like weekly check-ins or training.

Steps:

  1. Log in to the VidyVault client.
  2. Click the "Schedule" button on the home screen.
  3. Fill in the required details:
    1. Meeting Topic
    2. Start and End Time

Advanced Settings:

  1. Setting Recurring Meetings

You can configure the meeting to repeat daily, weekly, or monthly. For example, every Monday at 10:00 AM.

  1. Setting Meeting Passwords

Add a password to restrict access. Participants must enter the password to join.

  1. Participant Settings – Mute on Entry

Enable this option to mute participants by default upon entry, reducing background noise during the meeting start.
