Meeting Controls

1、Meeting Management (Host Only)

Role: Host

• Mute on Entry: Automatically mute participants as they join.
• Mute All / Unmute All: Quickly control the entire meeting's audio environment.
• Request to Unmute: Ask all participants to unmute with a single tap.
• Remove Participant: Select any attendee to remove them from the meeting.

2、Microphone & Camera Controls

Role: All

• Enable/Disable Microphone: Tap the mic icon to mute or unmute yourself.
• Check Mic Status: In the attendee list, see who is speaking—active mics will appear blue.

Role: Host

• Mute Individual: The host can mute any participant.
• Unmute with Consent: The host can send a request to unmute a participant, who must confirm.
• Enable/Disable Camera: Toggle your video feed.

3、Video Grid Layout & Pinning Video

Role: All

• Video Grid Layout: By default, all participants' video feeds are displayed in a tiled grid view.
• Pinning Video: Each participant can independently pin one video feed as their primary view. This action does not affect the view of other attendees.

4、Renaming Participants

Role: All

• Rename Yourself: Click your name in the attendee list to update your display name.

Role: Host

• Rename Any Participant: Click on a user’s name and select “Modify Name” to update their in-meeting name.

Tip: In large meetings, using organization or role identifiers in names helps attendees recognize each other.

5、Screen Sharing and Recording

Role: All

• Share Screen: Share your desktop or application window. Only one person can share at a time.

Role: Host Only

• Start/Stop Recording: Begin recording to the cloud. A visual indicator will notify all participants.

6、Leaving or Ending the Meeting

• Attendees: Regular participants can only leave the meeting. This does not affect other attendees or the ongoing session.
• Host: The meeting host has two options:
  • Leave Meeting: The host exits the meeting, and the system will automatically assign host privileges to the earliest participant who joined the meeting.
  • End Meeting for All: This option immediately terminates the meeting and removes all participants.

⚠️ Note: Be cautious when choosing "End Meeting for All", as it will disconnect everyone instantly.
