Anti-Packet Loss

Anti-Packet Loss is a technology in video conferences designed to "address network instability". When packet loss occurs in the network (e.g., partial data is lost during data transmission), Anti-Packet Loss technology uses intelligent algorithms to predict and compensate for the lost data content. This reduces the impact of packet loss on audio and video quality, prevents issues like video stuttering and audio interruptions, and ensures meetings remain smooth even when the network fluctuates.

Anti-Packet Loss technology is particularly important in scenarios where meetings are held via mobile networks. For example, when an employee joins a meeting outdoors using a 4G/5G network, mobile network signals are prone to fluctuations, which may lead to packet loss. With Anti-Packet Loss technology, even if the packet loss rate reaches 10%-15%, the video will not stutter frequently and the audio will remain continuous. Take an employee attending an urgent company meeting outdoors as an example: the 4G network signal was unstable, but Anti-Packet Loss technology automatically compensated for the lost video frames. The employee could clearly see the PPTs and other participants’ video in the meeting, and hear the complete speech content—without missing key information due to network fluctuations.

In scenarios where meetings are attended via low-bandwidth networks in remote areas, Anti-Packet Loss ensures a basic meeting experience. For instance, during meetings between township enterprises and their headquarters, networks in remote areas have limited bandwidth and are prone to packet loss. Anti-Packet Loss technology can quickly compensate for lost packets, keeping the video basically smooth and the audio uninterrupted. Take an agricultural enterprise’s township branch holding a crop cultivation technology meeting with its headquarters as an example: the branch had a relatively high network packet loss rate. Thanks to Anti-Packet Loss technology, participants could clearly watch the cultivation technology videos shared by the headquarters’ experts and hear the experts’ explanations. There was no video stuttering or intermittent audio caused by packet loss, ensuring the accurate transmission of technical information.

In scenarios where network congestion occurs during large-scale meetings, Anti-Packet Loss maintains meeting stability. For example, during a company-wide general meeting, a large number of participants connecting to the network simultaneously may cause network congestion and packet loss. In such cases, Anti-Packet Loss technology can compensate for the lost data, preventing large-scale stuttering in the meeting. Take a 100-person company-wide general meeting as an example: the network experienced packet loss due to congestion, but Anti-Packet Loss technology kept everyone’s video smooth, and the shared annual summary video played normally. There was no situation where some participants encountered video stuttering or others faced audio interruptions, ensuring the meeting proceeded smoothly.
