The screen sharing feature allows all meeting participants to share their entire screen or a specific application window. It supports both desktop and mobile clients.
How to Start Screen Sharing
- During an ongoing meeting, click the “Share Screen” button on the bottom toolbar.
- Select from the following options:
- Entire Screen: Show all desktop activity.
- Application Window: Share only the selected app to avoid exposing other content.
Selecting the Sharing Area
- You must choose the content before sharing starts. Once sharing begins, the area cannot be modified unless you stop and reselect.
- On multi-monitor setups, sharing is limited to a single screen. Cross-monitor sharing is not supported.
Tips:During sharing, all displayed content in the selected area will be shared. Avoid sharing an image area containing private information such as information input, notification message, and personal account.
In-Share Toolbar Functions
When sharing, a floating toolbar will appear at the top, including:
- Mute/Video: Control your microphone and camera during presentation.
- New Share: Switch to another screen or window.
- View Meeting Info: Quickly check the meeting ID and participant list.
- Start Recording: If permitted, directly initiate a meeting recording from here.
- Stop Sharing: End the current sharing session.
Additional Notes
- All participants can initiate screen sharing—there is no host-only restriction or user whitelist for this feature.
- Mobile screen sharing is supported, enabling participants to present content from mobile devices.
- Sharing of local media files (e.g., videos or audio playing on your device) is not supported yet, but this feature is under development and coming soon.
